The Natural Beauty of Bend, Oregon

In the last few months, my family has had the opportunity to witness the beauty of Bend, Oregon on more than one occasion. When we visited in August, we decided to fly into Portland, Oregon.  After taking the drive from Portland to Bend, we fell in love with what welcomed us and we were wishing that we had more time to enjoy this town.  For our October visit, we decided to head straight to the beauty that we fell in love with the first time around.

Bend, Oregon is B E A U T I F U L. There is something so peaceful that comes with the scenery of mountains and water. I’ve known for years that water brings me a sense of peace, which is one of the reasons that my soul does so well living in Grand Cayman (Cayman Islands), but the addition of the mountains

simply A M A Z I N G.

In addition to the natural landscape, you have the beauty of the people and the love for physical activity.  I do believe that Oregon is home to the nicest people that I have ever met.  As you can see, the beauty of Bend is timeless.  There is no fading beauty with the change of the seasons – just a different appearance of beauty.  Beauty is not lost, but rather deepened and enhanced with the time and wisdom that comes with the process of aging.  Beauty does not have a single appearance, and it defies the change that comes with time.  Here are some of my favorite captures of Bend and its seasoned beauty.
