Beauty of Grand Cayman | A Morning Walk
Welcome to my home here in Grand Cayman! Let’s talk and take a walk!
This morning here in Grand Cayman, I enjoyed some family time outside with my husband and our two little ones. Ahhhh yes, I love my time outside! The last 6 months of my life have been spent predominantly inside – healing from my second c-section, caring for my baby girl (Kaitlyn) and my very active 3-year-old boy (Jack), and doing my best to make the most of these early years with my beautiful children.
For some time this morning, I was able to take a little walk – just me and my camera . I enjoy taking in all of the beauty that naturally exists all around us.
For the last 3 1/2 years, we have been fortunate enough to call this island of Grand Cayman, “home”. People visiting here on vacation often ask, “What is like to live here?” As I share with them, I will tell you that like anywhere else, there are pros and cons to where we live. However, for me personally, this is where my soul feels like it truly belongs.
Now, let me ask you, where is it that your soul feels most at ease? Maybe for you, it is not water that brings you peace, but the woods? Or, maybe you find your peace in the mountains? Or, if you are anything like my little, budding pilot of a son, maybe for you it is the sky? If you haven’t found this sense of where your soul feels most at ease, then may I suggest that you start your own journey to self-discovery and healing? Never in a million years would I have imagined that I’d leave Michigan as part of my own journey of healing, but I did and I am so grateful for finding that courage to do so and for allowing myself that leap of faith. If you want to learn more about finding that courage, then make sure you watch the video that I included at the end of our walk together today!
As we journey together today, you will see what I love most about this little island (22 miles long by 8 miles wide) in the middle of the Caribbean Sea.
“Those who find beauty in all of nature will find themselves at one with the secrets of life itself.” L. W. Gilbert
So, if you will, now it is time for you to walk alongside me.
Here’s some of the beauty seen through my eyes.
If what I shared about finding where your soul feels most at ease resonated with you, then maybe this video will give you just a little more inspiration to help you along your way!
If you enjoyed this time with me, then please let me know by commenting, liking, and/or sharing this collection of moments captured. I look forward to sharing more of my journey with you in hopes that you will receive peace, healing, and inspiration to live your best life possible!
